Our Access and Inclusion Statement
McIver’s Ladies Baths is a women and children’s space, with boys under the age of 13 permitted if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The Randwick and Coogee Ladies Swimming Association (The Association) manages the McIver’s Ladies Baths, we are very proud to continue our history of providing an accessible and inclusive facility, which is free from discrimination, harassment, or victimisation.
The Association welcomes every woman and child regardless of their sexual orientation, ability, age, cultural background, or ethnicity. This includes transgender women and transgender children.
We understand that for some members of the community this may be a difficult answer, but we believe that difference and acceptance of all women and children is important. We ask everyone to respect the sensitivities of others in our access to and use of the Baths.
We have a history over 100 years of providing accessible and inclusive facilities in Coogee and hope to continue to do so for future generations of women and children.
